THE 10th Classic Car Tour stopped by Donnybrook recently when a number of veteran car owners got together after one of the largest veteran car rallies in Australia’s history.
The annual tour takes in a different part of the state each year.
This year there were about 26 vehicles of all shapes, sizes and makes, including Mercedes, Vauxhalls, Holdens, Mini Minors, Mokes and Coopers, Plymouths, Fords, Jaguars and Chevrolets. They were joined along the way by members of the South West Veteran Car Club. The tour met in Pinjarra on Saturday, September 1, journeyed to Donnybrook for the first stop, then on to Pemberton for a few days of sightseeing and touring before the rally made its way to Bunbury.
