THE Hunter Ice Skating Club’s synchronised skating team has collected a top-three placing at the NSW State Championships.
On Sunday, the Hunter Ice Skating Club’s team Ice Reflections came third in the open division at the championships held at Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink.
Coach Lara Matskel said she was delighted with the result.
She said the team entered with no expectations and had never competed at that level.
She said the team was rewarded for its hard work and dedication leading up to the competition.
The team now hopes to qualify for the national titles.
