St Marys-Mount Druitt Police beat- September 17

*Police are hunting two males who robbed a man in Mount Druitt hotel on Saturday.A man, 26, was standing outside ahotel around 2.45pm when he was approached by two males of Caucasian apperance.

They grabbed hold of him and stole money.

They were last seen running towards the Mt Druitt Railway Station.

One man is decsribed aged 25-30, 183 centimetres tall, dark blonde hair, wearing cream coloured round neck T-shirt, cream coloured long cotton pants and white or cream coloured joggers.

The second is described as 179 centimetres tall, short blondish coloured hair,a black baseball cap, black T-shirt with multi coloured design on the front of it, white coloured pants with coloured stripes running across them and white joggers with two black stripes running across the top of them.

*A teenager, 16, will need surgery after his jaw was broken during an assault at a Blackett address.

The incident occurred between 11pm Saturday night and 2am Sunday.Anyone with information should contact Mount Druitt Police or Crime Stoppers.

*Police have renewed their appeal for information about a carjacking in Rooty Hill early last Wednesday (September 12).

A man, 48, stopped his Ford Falcon XR6 on Rooty Hill Road North, near the Short Street intersection at around 3.30am, when he was approached by two men of Maori or Pacific Islander apperance.

One produced a sawn-off rifle and ordered to driver to get out of the car and onto the ground.

The two men fled off in the car and were last seen heading north.

Mount Druitt Detectives attended a property on Linlee Street, Girraween at 6.30pm that night, where the stolen Falcon XR6 was located.

It was seized for forensic examination.
